On a round trampoline the springs pull the jumper back towards the centre. On a rectangular one they run parallel, which gives a powerful, consistent bounce right across the mat. That is why gymnasts and trick jumpers prefer them, and why they ask a little more skill than a round trampoline.
BERG calls its rectangular frames Ultim. There is an Ultim version of each range: the Favorit, the Champion and the Elite. Above them sits the Pro Bouncer, in 16 × 10ft and 16 × 16ft.
Allow 2 metres of clear space on every side, as with any trampoline. Call us on 01 960 1641 if you would like help matching a size to your garden.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose a rectangular trampoline?
The springs run parallel, which gives a powerful, consistent bounce across the mat. Rectangular trampolines are preferred by gymnasts and trick jumpers, and they ask more skill of the jumper than a round one.
Does a rectangular trampoline suit a narrow garden?
Often, yes, because the shape follows the line of the garden. You still need 2 metres of clear space on every side.
What does Ultim mean?
Ultim is BERG's name for a rectangular frame. So the Ultim Favorit, Ultim Champion and Ultim Elite are the rectangular versions of those ranges.
Do the FlatGround Ultim Champion models take a safety net?
The 7 × 11ft FlatGround takes no safety net. The 8 × 13ft and 16 × 10ft FlatGround models do.
